I used to be in love with the Myers-Brigg Personality Test, mostly because I was certified in it from my HR years but lately I’ve fallen in love with the Enneagram.

What is an Enneagram

It’s basically a personality test that puts everyone that divides people into 9 different types of personalities. No one really knows where it originated but it is believed to have come into existence around 6,000 years ago. Since then, there have been many different interpretations of it and variations, there of. But the basic 9 personality types remain the same:

  1. The Perfectionist The Need to Be Perfect
  2. The Helper The Need to Be Needed
  3. The Performer The Need to Succeed
  4. The Romantic The Need to Be Special (or Unique)
  5. The Observer The Need to Perceive (or Understand)
  6. The Skeptic The Need to Be Sure/Certain
  7. The Adventurer The Need to Avoid Pain
  8. The Protector The Need to Be Against
  9. The Peacemaker The Need to Avoid

Each Enneagram Type has a suggested list of Writer Goals for your personality that look a little something like this
